sherrice mojgani

Theater Faculty

Sherrice Mojgani is an assistant professor in the School of Theatre at George Mason University. She is also a Lighting and Projection Designer.

Before coming to GMU, Mrs. Mojgani was based in San Diego, CA, and has taught at UC San Diego, Moorpark College, and Palomar College. She has designed for The Old Globe, San Diego Repertory Theatre, MOXIE Theatre, and Diversionary Theatre. Mrs. Mojgani’s design for Jade Heart at MOXIE Theatre was nominated for a 2014 Craig Noel Award. She was an Associate Lighting Designer on the Broadway musical Come From Away, which originated at La Jolla Playhouse.
Mrs. Mojgani is a member of United Scenic Artist 829 and serves on the Diversity Committee. She was a TCG Leadership U Finalist in 2016. Mrs. Mojgani holds a BA in Theatre Arts from UC Santa Cruz, and an MFA in Lighting Design from UC San Diego.
