This concentration is designed to provide the theater generalist with a thorough preparation for further study and work in directing, scholarship or teaching.

Admission Requirements:

• Portfolio including resume, transcript, 2 writing samples including one from a non-THR course.
• Proposed course schedule
• Essay detailing motivations and goals for their concentration.
• Prerequisites: THR 198 or 199, 150 or 151, 210 and 230

       
Concentration Requirements

Three courses from (THR 351, 352, 355, 359, 380, 382, 395 or 424)
One from the following (THR 310, 340, 381, or 482)
One from the following (THR 333, 334, 335, 337, or 342)
Internship in area of choice (THR 494)
THR 495 Senior Capstone Project
THR 440 or 496 (fulfills Synthesis requirement)
