Skills Group for Dealing with Intense Emotions

Do you have strong emotions or impulsive behaviors that you have trouble managing? If so, the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Group offered at the George Mason University Center for Psychological Services may be helpful. This evidence-based therapeutic group is aimed at teaching skills to help cope with and manage intense emotions. Facilitators will meet with interested participants to ensure that the group is a good fit for their needs. Participants must be 18 or older. This group is a supplement to individual therapy. All participants are required to have an individual therapist.
