For those pursuing an advanced degree, we offer the following graduate-level opportunities:
- B.A./Accelerated Masters of Arts Management
- MFA in Visual and Performing Arts, with a concentration in Theater*
- Teaching Theater PK-12 Graduate Certificate**
* The Theater concentration in the MFA in Visual and Performing Arts is a selective program designed for theater artists with some professional experience and who continue to work professionally during their course of study. Students are admitted to a specific emphasis: acting, design & technical theater, or directing. Specific programs of study will be designed for each individual, based on previous experience and expertise.
*The Theater Concentration of the MFA in Visual and Performing Arts is currently at maximum capacity. Therefore no new applications to the Theater Concentration are being accepted at this time.
CVPA Graduate Admissions is a self-managed system administered by the University’s Graduate Admissions Office.
**The Teaching Theater PK-12 Graduate Certificate has been identified by George Mason University as one that may lead to a career requiring professional licensure/certification. Federal regulations require Mason to disclose information as to whether this program meets/does not meet the educational requirements for licensure/certification in your state, or whether such a determination has not been made.
