We send all announcements to our students through our email listserv. Whether it's opportunities for auditions, internships, scholarships, student film casting, or academic requirements, you'll be notified by e-mail directly from the theater office.

Audition for our plays

Audition for our Theater productions. Auditions are open to all full-time degree-seeking George Mason students, including freshmen, all of whom are given equal consideration during the casting process, or volunteer to work behind the scenes. Contact us for more information.

Get Free Tickets

Take in performances and exhibitions by national and international artists, as well as faculty and students, at our performing arts centers and galleries. George Mason students get free tickets for more than 100 events each year. No matter what you study at Mason, enrich your life with performances, lectures, exhibitions, and more at the Center for the Arts, Hylton Performing Arts Center, and other campus venues.

Discover our student organizations

  • The Mason Players serve as the student production organization led by a staff modeled after professional theater standards.
  • Learn about George Mason's chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the national theater service fraternity for men and women.
  • If you enjoy improvisational comedy, check out a Mason Improv Association performance. MIA holds yearly auditions and invites students to participate in many of their activities.
