Program Manager, TheaterKevin Murray, (Interim Director and Performance Faculty) (B.A. University of Maryland) teaches Audition Techniques for Stage and Camera and Acting for the Camera. He works frequently as a freelance actor in films and on television, having appeared in HBO's Veep and The Wire, House of Cards for Netflix, Paramount's Runaway Bride, and many other independent films and television programs. As Program Manager, Kevin oversees new student recruitment, marketing and promotion, and special events.
2005, Theater, BAAfter graduating from GMU, I moved to Chicago and pursued improv comedy. After a few years I took time off from performing and instead pursued seasonal work opportunities that included working as a Commercial Fisherman in Kodiak, Alaska and as a Dairy Farm worker in New Zealand.
1997, Theater, BAI'm currently the founder and Executive Director of Lab Theater Project, a theater company devoted to the development of new works and new theater artists. I am also a Doctoral Student at the University of South Florida, College of Education, with a focus in Program Development. My research is in Storytelling and what can be taught through Narrative.
2013, Theater MinorRafael Sebastian is a professional actor and musician based in Washington D.C. Since earning his double minor degrees in music and theater in the Spring of 2013, he has performed throughout the DC/Baltimore region, as well as the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento theater communities in California.
2016, Theater, BFAMailey Shimon spent January and February of 2016 in New York as Costume Design Production Assistant on the stage adaption of the movie, A Bronx Tale. The production was co-directed by Robert De Niro and Jerry Zaks, and opened February 14, 2016 at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey.

Undergraduate Academic Advisor, TheaterSara Simanski is passionate about supporting students with their collegiate journey. She has worked as the Academic Advisor for the School of Theater since 2010, working within the College of Visual & Performing Arts since 2003. Sara is a member of the Mason Academic Advising Network (MAAN) and the CVPA curriculum committee. Her previous university experience includes working as part of the Admissions office at the College of William and Mary. Sara holds a BA in Psychology from George Mason University (2001).

Adjunct Faculty, TheaterStefan Sittig (B.A., University of Virginia; M.F.A., Virginia Commonwealth University) is a director, choreographer, fight director, movement coach, educator and performer. He has directed, choreographed, or created fights for over 70 productions including work in New York (Off-Broadway), internationally in Canada and Uruguay, and in the D.C. area for The Kennedy Center, The Studio Theatre, Metro Stage, The Washington Savoyards, The American Century Theatre, Open Circle Theatre, 1st Stage and others.
